She'll be nobody soon enough

A charcoal burnt spoon and an empty dull 30 gage 1/2 CC needle with the numbers worn off lay beside her lifeless frail body strewn across a strangers filthy and stained mattress. Her long unbrushed blonde hair covers her face and a blue extension cord wrapped and tied tightly around her upper arm cut off circulation to her forearm. Blood dripping to her dirty finger tips and further staining the mattress. Rain blew in through the open windows, laying bra less in a tank top and panties, she cant feel the cold and yet goosebumps cover her pale flesh. A man crawls on top of her, taking the burning cigarette from her fingers and putting it in his mouth. Then untieing his cord from her arm, he shakes her limp body. Shes unresponsive. He puts his ear to her bone chest listening for a heart beat, she smells of coffee grounds and ash tray. Shes still alive. Shes like a horribly tragic yet beautiful decoration in his tiny and cluttered, smoke filled den. Looking as though decomposition could set in any moment, she doesn't move, her chest barely rises for shallow breath. Her lips have a blue tint to them and yet they are so full he is tempted to kiss them.
"What time is it?" she mutters
"You got somewhere to be?" He chuckles
" I want more" she groans and he digs in his droor pulling out another bag to please her.
"You gotta sit up" He advises knowing she wont be able too. She feels around for the cord, realizing its no longer on her arm she whines "Wheres my thingy?"
"Here.." He ties it back around her arm and fills her needle.
She opens her eyes.
She can smell it.
"Gimme it. Ill do it!" She snatches the full needle and lines it to her vein, pulling blood to make sure shes hit one and then slowly pushing the tar deep into her bloodstream. Her head falls back as the drugs fill her up and euphoria sets back in.
He pulls the needle out of her arm. Unties his cord from her arm. He continues to stare at her lifeless body as her phone continuously vibrates, concerned friends that never stop calling. He turns her phone off. He'll turn her in to a nobody soon enough, they'll stop calling soon enough. She'll be all his or nobodies.
soon enough.
